Professional Expierence

Ajay is an accomplished business professional with a successful record of driving innovation and creative solutions. He has more than 15 years of experience dealing with cross-functional global teams and executives in transportation and technology strategy.

Prior to Concentre, Ajay held various consulting positions with Ericsson where he helped grow the Operations consulting practice in North America. Primarily focusing on process and systems integration, Ajay helped companies roadmap their technology vision, assess their current capabilities, and align their workforce with the business goals. Ajay later moved on to global initiatives helping companies baseline and transform their technology processes in South Africa and Germany.  Most recently, Ajay focused on Cloud Transformation projects solutioning Ericsson and 3rd party products to help define company cloud strategies and the adoption and integration of new technologies.

Before Ericsson, Ajay spent eight years with various railroad companies in the transportation industry.  Focused in engineering operations, he navigated managing field resources and union contracts, to running larger capital improvement projects across the country (Union Pacific). At the CN Railways, he put together a business plan that was used to move from a legacy system to a off the shelf solution for railyard control across the US and Canada network.  Prior to Ericsson, he managed AMTRAK’s on-time performance and built relationships with municipalities and railroads to prioritize AMTRAK train performance and enhance customer service.

Ajay graduated with a MBA from Boston University where he focused in Operations Management, Business Strategy and International Business. In 2010, Boston University recognized him as a Student Leader in the school’s Business and Leaders Magazine.  Ajay was responsible for managing the graduate student budget and migrating the old student website to a new IT managed platform.  He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa.
